June 10-12, 2005 ~ 50th Reunion

Dear Classmates,

The final figures for our Reunion Year, 2004-05 are now available.  The College was slower than usual this year in posting the results because of the Campaign's end.

Our dollar amount was $2,444,974.

During the final weeks of June we raised our Reunion rate of 76% to a new class record of 77.2%.

Also during that time we went from 141 Durants to 145.  What a way to break a record!

I do have some disappointing news:  Our five year Reunion Gift is now $18,528,407, which is indeed an incredible new record for our class and one which will probably stand for some time.  The additional $2 million announced at Reunion will be paid during the next Reunion cycle, so the good news is that we have a significant sum of money toward our 55th Reunion Gift!

You have made the past five years memorable ones for me.  I know you will be just as supportive and encouraging to Persis Gearing McCarley as she works towards our 55th.

My best to each of you, for you are "the best."
